Training on how to use your devices

Using tech devices can be very frustrating, especially if tech isn't your first language. Anyone who says that it's intuitive is probably the person who is selling the product. It's only intuitive if you have used something from that product line before and gotten really good at it. Otherwise, it can be like learning a whole new language.

This is where I come in. Do you want me to just fix it so you don't have to worry about it? Do you want me to teach you how to use your tech? Are you already pretty savvy, but are little stuck? Whether we are talking about smartphones, tablets, computers, smart home devices, or dealing with the connectivity that makes those things work, I'm here for you.

I'm old enough to remember what it's like to not know how to turn on a computer. But when I went to college, I had to take an intro to computer science class, and that was it. I changed my major. But I remember what it's like to be lost when it came to computers. And I'm sure I wanted to wring the neck of the lab assistant more than once when I was frustrated and they told me it was intuitive. So marrying the memories of those hard-fought learning times with my nurturing instincts sets me up to be a very compassionate, and gentle technical translator. Not an insignificant amount of my time has been spent just listening to people's frustrations about tech. I hear you. If you've gotten to the point where you need to call me, I know there may need to be some venting.

So let me show you how to make friends with your technology. I will hold your hand every step of the way. Just take a deep breath. I'll talk to you soon.
